Spend the day in a coastal town on the Atlantic Ocean, explore the city of Essaouira from Marrakech, discover the fascinating medina, and stroll through the centers full of colorful souks, narrow alleys, outdoor cafes and seafood restaurants. Visit the former Portuguese fortress, Sekkara. On your way to discover this magical oil and its benefits, you have the freedom to stop by the Argan Oil Cooperative and explore the city at your own pace.

DAY 1 : Full Day Trip To Essaouira City From Marrakech
Book a full-day tour from Marrakech to Essaouira and explore this charming little town. Essaouira is the old town of Portugal, Mogador. The city of Essaouira designed by French architect Vauban. For a long time, the city had a large Jewish population. These effects, and many others, have produced unique and very compelling results. Today, the city is slowly becoming a city of artists.
Along the way, take in the views of the countryside from the villages and fields and stop by a small argan oil cooperative run by a local female. Before you go to Essaouira, discover how oil is extracted and used. You may also buy oil directly from the producer.
When you arrive in Essaouira, you can enjoy a very favorable microclimate that guarantees mild temperatures in winter and cool climates in summer. Also noteworthy are the beautiful beaches protected by the beautiful islands.
Essaouira artisans are famous for their cedar root marquetry, offering a wide range of objects, from small memories to furniture and real works of art. Explore Essaouira's medina and visit the old harbor, where merchants from sub-Saharan and western regions met. Visit Sekkara, an old fortified Portuguese fortress, then head to Medina for a stroll through the small blue alleys and enjoy a delicious fish lunch.
After lunch, we will leave Essaouira and return to Marrakech, arriving around 6 pm.
