OVERVIEW :
Experience the Moroccan desert during this 5-day trip from Marrakech to Merzouga. Camel ride to a desert camp, spend an evening among the giant sand dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga, and star gazing at night.
DAILY TOUR :
DAY 1 : MARRAKECH / TIZI-N-TICHKA / AIT BEN HADDOU / OUARZAZATE / KELAA MGOUNA / DADES GORGES
Departure early in the morning to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou via Tizi n Chacha Kol (2260 m) and the High Atlas Mountains. Arriving at Ait Ben Haddou, visiting the Kasbah, and having lunch at that moment. In the afternoon, head towards Ouarzazate to join Skoura and visit Amerdil Kasbah. Then head towards the Strait of Dades via Mgouna Castle, Boumalne and the Dades Valley. Dinner and night at the hotel
DAY 2 : DADES GORGES / BOUMLANE / TINGHIR / TOUDRA GORGES / ERFOUD / MERZOUGA
After breakfast, drive back through the Dades Valley to Boumalne in order to continue towards Tinghir and Todra Gorge, walk the fjords and leave to join Erfoud next to the palm grove of Tinjdad (lunch on the spot) and Torouj. Break in Erfoud to visit the marble production workshop and excavations, then walk the path towards the amazing Erg Chebbi dunes to watch the sunset and spend the night at the feet of the sand dunes in a hotel with swimming pool
DAY 3 : MERZOUGA / ERG CHEBBI / MERZOUGA
After breakfast you will make the big turn of the dunes as you pass: Merzouga oases, wandering sediments, Khamli village (Gnaoua village) MIFISS mines, desert deserts with meeting of the Berber Bedouins of the Sahara, Oasis Tissarmen, back to the hotel. Change 4×4 camels to see the sunset and spend the night in the middle of the sand dunes. Dinner and night in the Bedouin camp
DAY 4 : MERZOUGA / RISSANI / ALNIF / TAZARINE / NKOUB / DRAA VALLEY / AGDEZ / OUARZAZATE
Departing early in the morning at sunrise on the sand dunes, returning by camel to the hostel, after breakfast start to the huge palm grove in Tafilalet via Rissani. The road towards Al-Nif (lunch on the spot), the oasis of Tazarine, the Nkub and the Draa Valley. Next, the road to Ouarzazate is through a small Berber villager named Agdez and the Anti-Atlas Mountains (1660 meters high). Dinner and night at the hotel.
DAY 5 : OUARZAZATE / FINT OASIS / TIFOULTOUTE / MARRAKECH
After breakfast, start to Fint Oasis: at the top of a rocky peak, discovery of the oasis nestled inthe wadi surrounded by the mountains. Four small villages where time seems to be stopped, and where inhabitants peacefully live on the resources of that wonderful oasis. Lunch on the way and night in your hotel. End of our services.
