OVERVIEW :
The highlight of the desert tour is undoubtedly the camel ride to the top of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Walking barefoot in the windy sand dunes and snapping pictures of yourself in blue Bedouin turbans with gorgeous sunsets in the background only adds to the experience. Mint tea and an authentic Moroccan dinner under a starlit sky are perfect ways to start an exotic evening. Sharing an evening of Berber music around a campfire adds to the fun of the desert. Your very comfortable private tent in a luxury desert camp near the large sand dunes completes this unforgettable day.
DAILY TOUR :
DAY 1 : FES / MEDIUM ATLAS / MIDALET / ZIZ VALLEY / DESERT MERZOUGA
Our trip starts from Fez at 08:00 to the desert through the wonderful city of Ifrane, in the middle of the Atlas where there are many different landscapes, Azrou is a Berber village where you have a chance to take some pictures of monkeys. Lunch will be at Medilt from which we will continue on our way to Ziz Valley. In the afternoon coming to your hotel in the desert.
DAY 2 : DESERT MERZOUGA
The desert excursion begins at 09:00 am. After breakfast, take a 4×4 dune bashing to visit the Bedouin tents and oases in the desert, then visit the well-known “Khemalia” village, Gnaoua village (the black slaves slaves of the former Sultan of Marrakesh in 1590) enjoying their dances and music. Lunch in the village of Merzouga. In the afternoon, we return to the hotel to start crossing the dunes by camel to spend the night in a Bedouin camp in the middle of the dunes.
DAY 3 : DESERT MERZOUGA / RISSANI / ERFOUD / FES
Come back to the hotel early and enjoy watching the sunrise in the dunes instead of restoring beauty, in the hotel you will have shower and breakfast. After that they were taken to Fez, via Rissani, the seat of the Alaouite dynasty of the current king of Morocco. Not far from Rissani, in Erfoud you can stop to see the work of the thousands of excavations made in all kinds of handicrafts that continue to cross Fez again the Middle Atlas, and have lunch in Midelt "the apple capital" that arrives in Fez in the afternoon.
