OVERVIEW :
During this 2-day toubkal climb in the Moroccan High Atlas, you will make the ascent of Jebel Toukal, the highest point of the Maghreb / and North Africa: Enjoy Berber hospitality in Toubkal refuge, and a gentle climb to the summit. This toubkal trek in the High Atlas starts from Marrakech to Imlil village where you will meet our team. Once you load your luggage on mules, you start trekking with our guide for the ascent of Toubkal / the highest point in North Africa! During the second day, you will go down from the top and then return to Imlil in Marrakech.
DAILY TOUR :
DAY 1 : FEZ / IFRANE / AZROU / MIDELT / ZIZ VALLEY / ERRACHIDIA / MERZOUGA
After breakfast to Merzouga via small Ifrane and the French village, Azrou's most famous ski area continues to the Cedar Forest where you can see baby macaques climbing trees, Azrou is famous for its sheep wool carpets and cedar wood carvings. Continue to Midelt the Alpes Capital and then cross the Ziz Valley, which connects the High Atlas Mountains with the Sahara Desert. Enjoy the shade of the palms and discover the charm of the old abandoned kasbahs among the traditional Berber villages. Access to Merzouga. Dinner and overnight at the Auberge. DAY 2 : MERZOUGA DESERT TOUR 4×4
Take advantage of this day to discover the region of Merzouga: you will start with the black village and have a cup of mint tea here where you will stop to enjoy the live Gnaoua music played by these people. In your 4×4 you will discover the Bedouin lifestyle while they are covered in their tents around the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Lunch with places in Berber village. In the afternoon, ride your camel across the perimeter of the dunes in order to spend the night in the heart of the dunes. Dinner and overnight under the Bedouin tent.
DAY 3 : MERZOUGA / ERFOUD / TODRA GORGE / BOUMALN DADES / DADES GORGES
We'll get up early to see the sunrise over the sand dunes in the desert before heading back to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. We will drive our car through the Saghro Mountains. We will walk a short walk through the Todra Gorge before arriving in Boumalne Dades for dinner and accommodation.
DAY 4 : DADES GORGES / ROSE VALLEY / OUARAZAZTE / MARRAKECH
After breakfast, drive to Ouarzazate along the Alf Kasbah Road, cross the orchards of Bloom Skoura and continue to Ouarzazate and the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. This UNESCO World Heritage site dates back to the 16th century and has provided the setting for many Hollywood films such as Babel, The Lawrance of Arabia, The secret of Sahara and Légionnaire. Lunch in Ait Ben Haddou, travel to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains. end of our services.
